Welcome back to the blog! I hope you’re having a great week! This week we are talking about common lies we believe. We are going to discuss the lie that God cannot use me.
I have found myself thinking this before. I say things like “but there are so many other people who are more equipped than I am.” Or I will say “how can God use me, I do not have any talents.” These are lies and God CAN use you.
There might be other people who can perform the task you have been given better. I can think of ten people who could run a podcast better than I can. This does not mean I should quit podcasting. God has called me to the podcast and I am going to strive to glorify Him in my words and actions. God does not call the equipped, He equips the called.
The second thing I struggle with is that I often feel like I do not have any gifts. God has given us all gifts that we can use to glorify God. If you don’t know what your gift is, try taking a spiritual gifts test!
Don’t believe the lie that God cannot use you, because He can. Be open to the ways you can serve and love those around you! Praying for you.
