Greek Loves: Agape

Friends!

Welcome to the last week of our greek love series! We finished off with agape, which is most likely the most recognized form of love. Agape love is the kind that God demonstrates. It's unconditional, whole, pure, and perfect. God shows agape love toward us, toward His son, and all of his creation in general. This love is hard to relate to as broken people. It's not possible for us to love unconditionally as much as we want to.

Agape is what we should strive for, knowing that it's not attainable. We are called to reflect God's love, not called to be perfect. We love because He first loved us. Sophie and I have said it a million times; we will fail each other, you will fail someone, and someone will fail you. Loving unconditionally (or as close to it as we can) means putting aside bitterness and hurt in order to love as the Father does. Look at others in the same lens as the Father rather than through a worldly lens.

We cannot wait for March and all it has in store, can't wait to talk to y'all soon!
